Just the other day (okay, it was last Tuesday), I walked in and she said, “Hey girl, I got your half pint, on the rocks, old fashioned.” I was thrilled because I was already thinking I might have to switch it up. That small moment honestly made my day. Sarah knows her customers, and that kind of personal touch is rare. Over the years, we’ve shared little pieces of life—work, holidays, the ups and downs. She remembers that I’m a temp, asks how my day’s going, and treats me like a friend rather than just another customer.
