The Mansion Restaurant

"After a multi year absence, we returned to The Mansion Restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Arrived early at the bar and enjoyed a lovely cocktail and glass of champagne. Restaurant was not crowded on a Sunday night, but the sparse crowd didn't disappoint our expectations for this spot and we easily filled out our Dallas bingo card. Service was very good and the dishes ordered were excellent. I opted for the market fish which was grouper with an interesting and delicious presentation. Wines available ran the gamut from reasonable to sublime, with something for everyone. The room and decor were as lovely as ever. A Dallas icon that has remained steadfast in quality, execution and style. If you haven't been, you really need to stop in for the full experience."

"I have found my new favorite place for parm truffle fries. I am still dreaming about them. Came for brunch on the weekend. The side fruit dish was cut perfectly and was so fresh. We got the brioche sandwhich which was delicious but hard to eat since it was so big. Desert ice cream was nothing special and probably would not order it again. The service was great and very attentive. And shout-out to the valet service was top tier."

"This restaurant is a classic at Dallas and it never disappoints. I like the historical building and elegant interior. Food is also delicious. We celebrated a birthday with a breakfast, it was quiet and elegant as always. Their BD special cake was a tres leches with lemon and passion fruit, absolutely delicious!"
